Meet Our Evangelist!

Kevin Hall has served as the preacher for the Cortez Church of Christ since 2016.

Raised in the Baptist faith in Moultrie, Georgia, Kevin came to a deeper understanding of God through his studies with the Church of Christ. He was baptized and has devoted his life to growing in faith through diligent Bible study, teaching, and service.

Kevin graduated from the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS!) with a degree in Landscape Architecture and worked in the field for many years. After the passing of his first wife, Amy, following her courageous five-year battle with cancer, Kevin felt called to Florida to begin preaching full time.

He quickly fell in love with the small fishing village of Cortez and the congregation he was blessed to serve. In 2020, Kevin remarried Jenee and became a father to her two children, now ages 21 and 12.

Kevin loves studying and teaching the Bible, meeting new people, and helping others grow in their faith. He believes the key to understanding God's Word is simple: be in it! His years of study alongside faithful preachers, elders, and teachers have shaped his commitment to sound, Scripture-centered preaching.

More than a preacher, Kevin considers the Cortez congregation his church family. He loves spending time with members outside of worship, building relationships, listening, encouraging, and serving through life's ups and downs. The Cortez Church of Christ feels truly blessed to have Kevin leading and teaching our congregation.
